ClipBoardUltra
Everything you copied, and every screenshot you took, one shortcut away.
macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon and Intel

Why I made it
The preview always disappeared.
I take a screenshot to drop it straight into some app. The little preview shows up in the bottom right, but sometimes it disappears before I’ve dragged it in. Then I had to take it again, or go dig through Finder. And pasting a few screenshots meant doing them one by one.
A few screenshots, the old way
- Open Finder, find it, drag it in
- Open Finder, find it, drag it in
- Open Finder, find it, drag it in
- Open Finder, find it, drag it in
With ClipBoardUltra
Every screenshot is already in the list. Paste them one after another without leaving the app you’re in.
Screenshots
Caught the moment you take them.
ClipBoardUltra watches your screenshot folder. Every new capture goes straight to the top of the list, with its size and time, ready to paste with Return. Press Tab to see only screenshots.
- No rushing before the preview disappears
- No hunting on the Desktop
- Old screenshots are still there an hour later

Drop shelf
Shake, drop, sort.
Moving files from a few different folders into one place usually means a pile of Finder windows. Instead, start dragging a file and give your cursor a quick shake. A drop shelf appears right next to it. Drop the file in, go to the next folder, add more, then drag them all to where they belong.

Put each kind of file in its own folder while you collect, then drop each folder in the right place. Try it:

Drag a file into a folder, or click it and then click a folder.
Keyboard
Never reach for the mouse.
Open it, pick, paste and get back to work, all from the keyboard. Point at a key to see what it does.
Snippets
Text you type every day, filled in for you.
Save signatures, addresses or code. Little tags fill in the date, time, a fresh ID, or put the cursor exactly where you want it.
